Homing
Homing is communal playspace questioning what composes "home" and "care."
Homing is an attempt to break down the differences between ourselves and the spaces we inhabit.
We often only have the option of living in, if we have the option of living "in" at all,
something already built, designed in some semi-standard image of a house, trailer, apartment, car.
In Homing's first exhibition, around seventeen queer artists of varying gender, race, ability, and class,
along with our collaborators occupying space with us, made impressions of "home," "safety," and "care."
We built a space that allowed intuitive movement, controllable privacy, and wordless communication.
We built a home.
